Thoughts On The Green Hornet (With some other bullshit)

I firstly must apologize for my long absence, I had tried to write more entries but nothing was really happening in my world worth writing about, and if something was I sure as fuck didn't know about it. If you want to be an asshole and skip straight to the review of the movie, you may do as such.

__________________________________________________________________________
At lot of really uncool shit went down, but long story short, my ass got DUMPED. After the typical ice cream dinners and all day showers I was able to pull my self enough out of the gutter to ask a girl out again. Granted she wasn't what most people would classify pretty as, and to be honest she resembled Danny Devito.

Can you imagine the kind of BJs this guy gives??
I figured if I was going to take this girl out, I might as well see a movie that had been catching my interest recently, "The Green Hornet".

Fuck you asshole if you skipped straight to this part, you should be ashamed of yourself. Anyways....

Going into this movie I wasn't expecting much, and with shitty expectations like those anything was bound to excite me. As for the casting of Seth Rogen I am going to say this much; it was an delightful surprise. I am sure there is a lot of cunts in Hollywood who could of act circles around Seth but in this movie he held his own, and suited his role well. He played some typical hotshot son-of-a-billionaire douchebag, sound familiar right?

"Chudnofsky",  Christoph Waltz
As the bullshit plot develops he is placed in a position of  power that is way above his comfort level and begins to lash out. Along the way he encounters Kato, your stereotypical asian mechanic. Coincidentally is good at everything, and shows off for half of the movie doing weird shit like opening a beer bottle with a karate chop or some shit like that... To be honest I wasn't paying attention at this point so i'll skip along to when the story really heats up. We are introduced to the villain of the movie, a Russian(?) super boss "Chudnofsky", who is really the bad guy from Inglorious Basterds (NOT Hitler.) Now for why they decided to choose a obviously German man as a Russian mob boss is beyond me. Seems like a big FUCK YOU to typecasting though.

So as you may have guessed their paths finally cross and the douchebag son manages to destroy the Newspaper Empire (oxymoron) his deceased father managed to build up. All bad guys die like regular but in the process Seth Rogen completely fucks up his fathers Newspaper building and everyone who was caught in the crossfire most likely died... But then again the bad guys died so everything is well.

Lastly, this movie was in 3D, and watching this movie mashed made it even more enjoyable, but maybe that makes my review a tad biased. However I enjoyed myself and it was a decent little movie, so I will give it a solid
7/10

  4. I really liked the movie. One of the better comic book movies i've seen. I've never read the comics though. And I barely even noticed the 3d after the first few minutes...

  11. See, back when Bruce Lee was playing Kato, they totally exaggerated the Asian thing too. Don't worry it's par for the course with Green Hornet
